Mindo's cloud forest is two hours from Quito; the Amazon is a thirty-minute flight and a canoe ride.

Borneo

Wild orangutans, pygmy elephants and eight kinds of hornbill, in some of the oldest rainforest on Earth.

The oldest rainforest on the planet runs straight down to the reef, and the cassowaries know it.
