A well-built treehouse on a horse property outside Saint Cloud, about 40 minutes from the Disney parks but pointed firmly the other way. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a wraparound deck put you eye-level with the oak canopy, and below it's pasture: four horses live here, and depending on the host's schedule you can usually meet them. Evenings are the fire pit, mornings are coffee on the deck listening to sandhill cranes somewhere across the field. It's a one-bed, two-person setup that gets booked mostly by couples, and it works for that — comfortable mattress, real plumbing, A/C for the brutal months. The honest pitch: this is the easy-access version of a Florida treehouse. Paved roads all the way, a short drive to groceries and restaurants in Saint Cloud, and Orlando's airport about half an hour out. You give up remoteness and get convenience without losing the trees.
