Casa Arca is an architect's house in the forest — designed by Atelier Marko Brajovic, the studio behind several of Paraty's most photographed jungle builds — set inside Aldeia Rizoma, an ecological community about 20–25 minutes from the historic center. The arched timber structure sleeps six across two bedrooms plus a convertible living room, and the everyday details are sorted: full kitchen, dedicated workspace, Starlink internet fast enough for video calls, solar power, sauna, even an EV charger. The reason you book it, though, is outside: a natural waterfall and swimming hole within walking distance, monkeys and toucans in the canopy, and trails straight out of the gate. With 364 reviews at 4.91 it's one of the most consistently liked stays in the region. You'll want a car — the access road is forest track, and town runs (and restaurants) are a drive away.
